New synagoues for Kibbutz Poria and Neve Ziv

Ramat Zvi Jerusalem Tour

Rabbi Raanan personally chose a spectacular Aron Kodesh for Gvar Am's newly established synagogue. One member of the kibbutz said his hair was standing on end with excitement to see it, a second said he was cancelling his plans and rushing back to the kibbutz from Ashkelon.

Poriah experiences a new dose of the old tradition with Chaim and Tova Elfenbein at the helm. There is great competition with the biggist local missionaries in Israel - around 60 families who live in the neighborhood. Chanukah has deep insight in Poria, more than in any other place ie a daily struggle against foreign influences. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poria_Illit

Neve Ziv situated in the Galil held a Chanukat Beit HaKnesset this month with the help of Ayelet Hashachar residents David and Rut Baluka. The modest shul has been created to accommodate the rising interest in Jewish tradition among the locals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neve_Ziv

Members of the Ramat Zvi community were thrilled to see Jerusalem from the inside this Chanukah. Their journey took them to the home of former head of Agudat Yisrael, Rabbi Shmuel Blum, as well as to the inner chamber of the late Ovadia Yosef. (read more in site)
