A Shavous Tent in Kibbutz Aylon

Special Meeting in Kibbutz Metzubah

Kibbutz Karmiyah needs our help

During Shavous myself and my family spent the Chag in Kibbutz Aylon located on the Lebanon border. Since there is no Shul in the Kibbutz we had to daven and learn in a tent.

While learning in the tent, I truly felt closer to Matan Torah as it was given to Bnai Yisrael thousands of years ago.

When there is a will - there is a way.

We are creating 100 meetings between Religious members from Ayelet Hashachar's staff and members of Kibbutzim from all over Israel.

Three weeks ago we had our first meeting in Kibbutz Metzubah and the need to learn, meet and hear stood out from both sides.

One of the topics that everyone wishes to develop is how to bring the children and youth to get to know each other better.

This is only the beginning.

A week and a half ago the members of Kibbutz Karmiyah contacted Ayelet Hashachar and asked if we will be able to help them get a Sefer Torah for the Kibbutz. During our meeting we heard a few stories about the miracles that happened in the Kibbutz since they established their Shul, (despite the Kibbutz's  troubling location near the Gaza strip). The Sefer Torah that was in the Kibbutz was taken since it was given as a temporary solution, and now the members are wishing to have a permanent Torah is the Kibbutz.

I"yh we will help Kibbutz Karmiyah get a Sefer Torah.

Hachnasat Sefer Torah in Nofit   A New Sefer Torah in Sdeh Nehemyah

Yeshuv Nofit celebrated Hachnasat Sefer Torah with over 400 community members participating in the event. The Torah parade and the meal that followed demonstrated the unity and joy in the Yeshuv.

Yishar Koach to Rabbi Shalom Jerbi!

A couple of weeks ago we took a new Sefer Torah to kibbutz Sdeh Nehemyah and we felt the Zechus of Matan Torah on Shavous.
