Reaching Out to Africa

Reaching Out to Asia

Reaching Out to south America

With Yom Hatzmaut-Israel's Independents Day - approaching, we will be reaching out to Israelis living in Africa (excluding South Africa) with an exciting initiative to send a Mezuzah, case and a guide, to all who wish to receive one.

The Mezuzah symbolizes the Jewish flag as it is placed at the door post of the Jewish home.

Our Goal is to reconnect every Israeli to his homeland and to remind him that the Mezuzah has with in it a protective blessing that shields his dwelling and guards his soul.

Along with the activity in Africa, we will be reaching out to all those Israelis living in Asia(excluding Israel), to send a Mezuzah, case and a guide.

We are advertising via Google and the social Media and thus far we have been very successful in reaching Israelis overseas through these venues.

Our results are evident through our Global Chavruta Project for which we advertise in the same way and it already has more than 200 members.

I"YH in the month of May we will expand on ourMezuzah Project and also target the Israelis living in South America (excluding Brazil and Argentina).

There is a great need for Israelis all over the world to stay connected with Israel and our heritage and Ayelet Hashachar is proud to help them reconnect and strengthen their identity.

Project In Need:

100 Sessions To Open The Channels Of Communications

Currently we are launching 100 sessions with intellectuals and leaders from the religious and secular world in secular Kibbutzim and Moshavim such as Metzubah and Einat. Our efforts are supported by Prof. Oz Almog from Haifa University and Prof. Ephraim Tabori from Bar Ilan University, both sociologists.
The goal is to get to know each other and create a feeling of partnership and unity. During the sessions we will try to focus on mutual openness and build the basis for good communication. Our experience shows us that once the sessions are completed at least 40% of the locations will be interested in farther contact and programs.
The cost of the project is only $1000 for 20 different locations that will meet five times each. The sessions will be open for both men and women.

Please help us with this wonderful initiative!

The Challah Key Will Open The Doors To "Parnasah"   Kibbutz Ramat Zvi Burns the "Chametz"

For the first Shabbat after Pesach we have a "Minhag" (custom) to make a Challah shaped like a key.

After Pesach Hashem stopped giving Bnai Yisrael the "Manah" and we needed to manage our own with Parnasah and food. The Merit of the Challah Key is for Hashem to answer our prayers and open the gates of "Parnasah" (Livelihood).

Rabbi Yisraeli from Modiin, one of Ayelet Hashachar's devoted workers, sends challahs to all of his neighbors every Shabbat. For the Shabbat of the Challah Key, Rabbi Yisraeli wanted to grant this wonderful merit upon his neighbors and so he gave them a Challah Key with a small note to explain the special Challah.

Yishar Koach!

Rabbi Yisrael Eliyahu invited the members of the kibbutz to burn the Chametz prior to Pesach. Before we can clean our hearts and mind from the Chametz we must clean our homes and physically burn our Chametz.

Adults and children (even one dog), enjoyed burning the Chametz and starting Pesach with a clean home and heart.

Amen!
